Second Renaissance is proud to support the City of San José in the delivery of a wide range of cybersecurity services through the As Needed Cybersecurity Products and Services (ANCPS) contract vehicle. The contract scope includes Disaster Recovery and Incident Response, Network Security, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Identity Management, and Vulnerability Management services.

State and local governments need cybersecurity to protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data more than ever, as highlighted by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). In their publication titled “Cyber Essentials for State and Local Governments,” CISA stresses the importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding public services, stating, “Cybersecurity is essential for state and local governments to ensure the delivery of critical services and protect sensitive information.” This underscores the fact that without robust cybersecurity measures, state and local governments are susceptible to cyber threats that can disrupt operations, compromise public safety, and undermine public trust. Therefore, investing in cybersecurity is vital for the resilience and security of government operations, serving the best interests of their constituents.
